After a long time of injury, defender Doan Van Hau was on the list of registered players of Hanoi in the friendly tournament Tu Hung.

Doan Van Hau suffered a meniscus tear on the outside of his right knee since September 2020, after returning from the Heerenveen club (Netherlands). He participated in the final match of the V-League 2020 against Quang Ninh, but then relapsed when he played for the Vietnamese team in the second qualifying round of the World Cup 2022 – Asia region.
At the end of 2021, defender Thai Binh had to go to Korea for surgery, so he was absent from the third qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup, AFF Cup and SEA Games 31.
According to some sources in Hanoi, Van Hau has basically recovered, but the club cannot risk him to play. In early May 2022, the 23-year-old defender attended a charity match in Ho Chi Minh City but only worked as a coach.
The upcoming Four Heroes Awards will be held in Hai Phong with the participation of hosts Hai Phong, HAGL, Hanoi and Viettel. The tournament takes place from June 4 to June 10, in a round-robin format. This is a tournament to help teams build momentum and prepare for the return of V-League 2022 in July.
After traveling with his family in England, coach Kiatisuk returned to HAGL. Today, he and his students went to the port land. The mountain town team will not have the service of Kim Dong-su and striker Baiano, because both have just left the club.
After this tournament, HAGL can organize another training tournament in Pleiku.
